Why we included this project

This is the raw working notebook behind the Latent Space newsletter, written by someone who tracks AI full time rather than watching from the sidelines. Instead of a tidy listicle, you get dense, living markdown files organized by domain: text, chat, image generation, code models, audio, infrastructure, and agentic AI, with the deepest coverage on Stable Diffusion and text generation. The curated /Resources folder holds cleaned-up canonical references that are safe to permalink, and the swipe files of good image and text prompts come in handy when you are starting a new project and need working examples fast. Because the author has been tracking these topics closely since late 2022, the notes also carry the history of how ideas like prompt engineering and AI agents evolved, which helps you judge what is hype versus what stuck. For engineers building on LLMs and diffusion models, this is less a tool you run and more a well-kept map of the field worth revisiting as the state of the art moves.
