Why we included this project

SuperPlane is for teams that want AI agents to act on real production systems without giving up the controls. Rather than one-off scripts or CI jobs stretched past their limit, you model engineering processes as durable, git-backed workflow graphs with explicit approval gates, policy checks, and human-in-the-loop steps. Platform engineers and SREs can then orchestrate the same graph across Git, LLMs, CI/CD, observability, incident tools, and infrastructure, while the built-in per-app agent designs new workflows and debugs failing runs and operators get a console view with the same RBAC everywhere. It self-hosts, is still in beta, and durable execution means interrupted runs can resume cleanly instead of failing halfway through a deploy.
