Why we included this project

Security students and penetration testers who live in the Kali terminal will find this a genuinely useful companion rather than a toy. KaliGPT is a CLI agent that wraps several model backends (Gemini, ChatGPT, OpenRouter, and local Ollama models) and exposes them through a single `kaligpt` command, so you can ask for help with tasks like subdomain enumeration or XSS checks without leaving the shell. It supports tool calling, online search, and a provider list, and it ships with an automated installer plus Termux support for working from a phone. The project is under active development and its own docs flag rough edges, so treat it as a practical learning aid and workflow accelerator for authorized testing rather than a hardened production tool. Just note the custom non-commercial license before folding it into any paid service.
