Why we included this project

LiveAgent is a desktop client that pulls the AI coding and automation agents you run day to day into one native window, so you are not constantly switching between terminals and browser tabs. It talks to several model providers and agent backends, and it can execute tool calls on your own machine. Model Context Protocol and skills support let you attach custom tools without leaving the app. The Tauri and Rust core keeps the app light on macOS, Windows, and Linux, while a remote gateway lets you reach your agent from another machine when you are away from your desk. If a native shell for the workflow you already run sounds more useful than another web dashboard, this is a reasonable thing to try.
