Why we included this project
Anyone who routinely turns reports, meeting notes, or rough outlines into slide decks will find a real time-saver here. Give it a topic or upload a PDF, Word, Markdown, Excel, or PPT document, and it plans an outline, builds HTML slides, pulls images from local or stock libraries, and can write a speaker script and produce a narrated video from the same content. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure, and OpenAI-compatible services like DeepSeek and Qwen, and routes different steps to different models so you can keep API costs down. The editing layer is what makes it genuinely useful: you can rework the outline, swap images, and refine slides in a sidebar chat before exporting to PDF, PPTX, DOCX, or a shareable link with audio. It can also pull live web research into a deck when you want current facts, and self-hosting ranges from a single local command up to a Docker Compose stack.
