Why we included this project

Turning a research paper into a narrated video normally means assembling slides, recording audio, and syncing everything by hand. Paper2Video automates that pipeline: you give it the paper, a portrait photo, and an audio track, and it produces a talking-head presentation with slides that match the narration. There's also a faster mode that skips the talking head when you just need a quick video. Researchers and educators who produce video abstracts, conference previews, or lecture material will find it saves real time, and the bundled dataset and evaluation code make it useful for comparing approaches, not just as a demo.
