Why we included this project

Hope Agent is a desktop-first personal AI agent that keeps working after you close the conversation. Give it a goal with completion criteria and it plans the steps, calls the tools it needs, and checks its own results until the task is done, with pause, resume, and budget controls for when you want to step in. Long-term memory carries context across sessions and projects, MCP is supported, and computer and browser control only run under explicit approval, so it fits as a private, local workhorse for solo builders and small teams. The same session, memory, and task state follow you across the desktop app, a browser GUI, and chat channels like Telegram, Slack, and Feishu, and a server mode runs headless on a NAS or cloud host. Trying it without cloud keys is easy: a one-click local model install via Ollama, plus an optional design space and Markdown knowledge base for heavier use.
