Why we included this project

Agent Laboratory is built for researchers who have an idea but keep stalling between that and a finished paper. It strings together several specialized LLM-driven agents to cover the full research workflow: literature review and planning up front, then the experiments, then the report, while the research questions themselves stay with you. The design treats you as the scientist in charge: agents take over the repetitive coding and documentation so you can spend your time on the thinking. It adapts to whatever compute you have, and you can dial in how much hands-on involvement you want. Anyone coordinating multiple agents on a long, multi-step research task will find this a useful working reference rather than a demo.
