Why we included this project

Most workflow tools either lock you into a fixed canvas or give you a weak scripting layer, while Flow-Like builds application logic as typed, executable flows that run on a Rust runtime, locally or on AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes. The desktop Studio offers a visual canvas that drops into FlowScript and other languages when you need precise control, and each flow stays bundled with the data, packages, permissions, and release history that surround it. It can serve flows through REST endpoints, schedulers, chat, and MCP servers, and the LLM/ML node catalog plus WASM extension points treat AI tasks as a normal part of the graph rather than an afterthought. Every execution is traceable back to the board, which matters for teams that self-host and need evidence of what actually ran. One thing to weigh: the Business Source License restricts competitive SaaS use and requires a commercial license for large enterprises, so this is not standard open-source licensing.
