Why we included this project

Remotion treats video as React components, so the whole production pipeline, from motion graphics to data-driven clips, lives in code a team can version and reuse. Teams already on TypeScript and React get a familiar component model for animation, and the renderer can output MP4s locally or scale to cloud rendering for bulk jobs. That makes it a natural fit when video has to be generated from live data or templates instead of being hand-edited in a timeline. The project also ships agent skills and prompts, so a coding agent can draft a video from a brief and you can refine the result in code. For developers who want reproducible, programmatic video production rather than a GUI editor, this is a practical foundation.
