Why we included this project

Most AI assistants live in a chat window and forget everything the moment you close it. This project takes a different approach: a self-hosted personal agent that quietly records what you do, builds a memory of your activity and context, and then uses that memory to run automations for you. It can hook into tools like GitHub to keep track of what you're working on, and because it works over MCP and supports local models such as Ollama, it fits alongside the agent and coding tools you already run. For developers who want an assistant with real recall and background automation, this gives you a solid base to run and extend.
