Why we included this project

If your team routinely turns rough notes or scattered source material into polished slide decks, this tool removes most of the manual layout work. Presenton accepts a prompt, a file, or a template and produces a fully editable PPTX presentation through whichever model you already use, whether that's a local Ollama instance, a hosted provider, or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Since it can run fully self-hosted, you keep control over your data and brand styling instead of being locked into a closed subscription service. Developers get an API to wire presentation generation into their own products or internal tooling, while the desktop app gives non-technical users the same capability. It's a practical choice for anyone who needs repeatable, on-brand decks without fighting a proprietary generator.
