Why we included this project

YTPro is an Android YouTube client that adds a practical AI layer on top of the usual playback features. It handles video and Shorts downloads, background audio, picture-in-picture, ad blocking, and dislike counts, and it can also run Google Gemini on any video to produce a summary, with prompts and models you can customize. That makes it a good fit for anyone who wants to watch and download content in one app and get a quick AI overview of a long video without switching tools.
