Why we included this project

This is a community-curated guide to studying data analysis in Portuguese, useful both as a starting point and as a reference. It organizes material by experience level and by language, with separate sections for Python, R, and Julia, plus topic pages covering machine learning, databases, and other areas. Beyond study material, it lists Brazilian companies hiring for data roles, a plain-language glossary of data terms in Portuguese, and links to podcasts and local groups, so a lot of local context lives in one place. Newcomers get a clear path to follow, while experienced practitioners can dip in for a quick link. Since it grew out of the Pizza de Dados podcast and a large contributor base, it reflects what the Brazilian data community actually uses, which makes it particularly handy for teams working with Portuguese speakers.
