Why we included this project

Pinvou Agent is a desktop app built around the idea that a session should end with a deliverable file, not just a chat reply. It splits into three modes: a work mode that combines attachments, local knowledge, MCP tools, and reusable workflows to produce documents; a design mode that turns a natural-language prompt into an editable visual artifact you can keep refining; and a code mode that brings a coding agent such as Codex, Claude Code, or Kimi into a real project over ACP. Everything runs on a local model by default, so you can keep the whole loop offline and private, while any OpenAI-compatible endpoint is available when you want cloud models. Sessions persist across restarts, which makes it practical for a long project. Teams and power users who want one installable surface for tool calls, file work, and a coding agent without locking into a cloud service will find the breadth genuinely useful.
