Why we included this project

Anyone who writes with AI help has seen the same hollow phrases show up over and over: "It's not X. It's Y," "What nobody tells you is..." The no-ai-slop skill installs as an editing rule into ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, or any coding agent, and it rewrites your text to remove more than twenty of these recognizable patterns. The important part is that it edits instead of regenerating, so your vocabulary, cadence, and humor stay intact, and it tells you exactly what it changed. It also has a detection mode that quotes every pattern it finds without guessing whether a human or a model wrote the text, which is handy for checking drafts before they go live. Writers, editors, and teams that publish often get a practical guardrail against the sameness that AI-generated copy tends to share.
