Why we included this project

Cursor's behavior is shaped by Markdown-based .mdc files in .cursor/rules/, and writing those from scratch for every project gets tedious. This index collects ready-made rule sets for common stacks, from frontend and backend frameworks to mobile, games, CSS, state management, databases, and testing, so you can drop one into your own project and adapt it. The real value is curation: contributors maintain and vet the entries, which saves you from digging through scattered gists and blog posts. It is a reference list rather than software you run, but if you want an AI editor to consistently follow your team's conventions across projects, it is a practical place to start.
