Why we included this project

Teams that want to ship video editing inside their own product will find this a practical reference, not just a demo. It is a full browser-based editor with a multi-track timeline for video, audio, and images, drag-and-drop splitting and trimming, and shader-based transitions. Rendering and MP4 export happen entirely on the client using WebCodecs and PixiJS, so there is no server-side encoding bill to plan around. The repo also shows how to wire up cloud asset storage, transcription, and stock-media APIs, which is the kind of plumbing a real SaaS editor needs. If you would rather adapt a proven timeline and canvas stack than build one from scratch, this is a solid starting point.
