Why we included this project

Most coding agents run in a terminal, one developer at a time. OpenAB changes that by putting an ACP-compatible coding CLI behind a chat channel, so a whole team can share one agent through Discord, Slack, Telegram, or LINE. The broker itself is a small Rust binary that speaks the Agent Client Protocol over stdio JSON-RPC, and it supports the usual lineup of coding CLIs: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode, and others. Because it is cloud-native and self-hostable, teams that want agent traffic and credentials to stay inside their own infrastructure can run it themselves. If you are standardizing on ACP-compatible tools and want a single entry point for chat-driven development, this is worth a look.
