Why we included this project
Flock is the kind of desktop tool that earns its place for anyone tired of running agents they can't see. You build multi-agent workflows on a visual canvas and watch each step stream by, so an agent reading files, running bash commands, or browsing the web is never a black box. The approval prompts and the built-in cron scheduler make it practical for unattended automation where you still want a human to sign off before anything sensitive happens. Because the backend is Rust on a Tauri shell, it feels snappier than browser-based orchestration tools, and running agents inside sandboxed containers adds a safety boundary many similar projects skip. If you want a local-first, visual way to orchestrate agents across multiple providers without assembling the pieces yourself, it's worth a serious look.
