OmniBot

Why we included this project

Most AI agent apps stop at chat, but OmniBot actually carries out tasks on the device. It is a native Android app that runs the full agent loop locally: understand, decide, execute, reflect. The tool ecosystem is the interesting part. It can drive a terminal through an Alpine environment, use a browser, read and write files in a local workspace, and reach Android system features like alarms, calendar, and audio playback. A memory system with embeddings keeps short- and long-term context across sessions, and MCP support lets you plug in additional tools. Teams prototyping mobile-first agents, or hobbyists who want a self-contained assistant on their own phone, will find plenty to study in the Flutter UI and the Kotlin service layer.
