It runs locally on your own machine to transcribe clips, detect who is speaking, and index scenes, then lets you search the transcript in plain language instead of recalling exact words. Beyond transcription, it can draft screenplay-style stories and selections using local models like llama or DeepSeek, with no OpenAI account needed, and export those to an editing timeline as EDL or XML. DaVinci Resolve Studio 18+ users get tighter integration, with markers, timelines, and subtitles syncing directly between the two. The project is single-developer and still rough around the edges, but it solves a concrete post-production problem without sending your footage to the cloud.
