Why we included this project
LobsterAI is a desktop agent for people who do real work on their own machine. Instead of staying inside a chat window, it touches your local files, runs terminal commands, drives browser workflows, and can fire off scheduled jobs, streaming progress into the app as it goes. It sits on top of the OpenClaw runtime, which handles the agent execution while the desktop shell keeps permissions, session state, artifacts, and memory. If you leave the office, you can still steer a running task from WeChat, Feishu, DingTalk, or Telegram without keeping the desktop app open. That makes it handy for long office tasks you start locally and check on from your phone, which is more than a cloud chatbot offers.
