Why we included this project

myGPTReader sits inside Slack as a bot that turns shared links into something you can actually discuss. Paste a webpage, an ebook, a PDF, or a YouTube video with subtitles into the channel and it reads the material, then answers questions and hands back summaries in chat. It can reply by voice too, which helps if you are practicing a language, and it posts a daily hot-news digest so you can stay current without leaving the app. The hosted community Slack has thousands of members, so you can try everything before deciding to run your own instance. The included prompt templates give you a workable starting point for pulling useful answers out of the model.
