Why we included this project

This is a curated reading list, not a piece of software: each month from early 2018 through mid-2019, it picked the ten machine-learning open-source projects that shipped the most notable releases. The selections came from Mybridge's own ranking algorithm, which weighs shares and reading time, so the lists track real community attention rather than one editor's taste. Developers and technical leads can use the monthly markdown files as a time-ordered map of what the field found impressive during that stretch, with links into each project. The archive stops in 2019, but as a starting bibliography for tracing how the ecosystem evolved, it still saves hours of browsing.
