Why we included this project

When AI agents write most of the code, reviewing it becomes the real bottleneck. Backlog.md attacks that problem by turning a Git folder into a Markdown task board: the agent breaks your idea into specs, writes an implementation plan, and only produces code after you approve it, one task per pull request. So you get a chance to steer while a misunderstanding is still a sentence in a plan, and each diff arrives at a size a human can actually read. The whole task ledger lives in plain text inside the repo, which keeps the history readable for you, your team, and whatever agent picks up the work next. It's a zero-config CLI installed from npm, built for the agent-human review loop rather than for people-focused issue trackers.
