Why we included this project
Most personal AI agents live in someone else's cloud; Moltis is a server you run on your own hardware. A single Rust binary bundles the web UI, LLM providers, tools, and assets, so there's no Node runtime or dependency tree to maintain. The agent reaches you through Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Teams, and Signal, keeps memory across sessions, and has voice, scheduling, browser automation, and MCP support built in. Security is the part worth checking: your API keys never leave the machine, every command runs in a sandboxed container instead of on the host, and the core agent loop stays small enough to audit. If you want a full-featured agent you can run on a Mac Mini or Raspberry Pi and verify yourself, this is a strong option.
