Why we included this project

Instead of juggling separate apps and websites for streaming, manga, and novels, Miru pulls them all into one interface. Sources plug in through a JavaScript extension system, so the community can add new ones without rebuilding the app, and the official extension repository already ships working video sources. It also fetches TMDB metadata to fill out your library and tracks your watch and read history through AniList, which anime and manga fans will appreciate. The app runs on Android, Windows, and Web, with HTTP, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5 proxy support and BT torrent handling built in. Developers building their own media aggregator will find the extension-writing workflow and debug logging a useful reference.
