Why we included this project

Engineering teams that want to report delivery performance with real numbers instead of gut feel can use Middleware to get there. It reads from your GitHub and CI/CD integrations and computes the four DORA measures: deployment frequency, lead time for changes, mean time to restore, and change failure rate. That saves managers and platform teams from stitching those figures together by hand, and gives them a defensible basis for spotting bottlenecks, justifying process changes, or reporting to stakeholders. The analytics service, web dashboard, and customizable reports all run in a single Docker container, so a small team can stand it up without much infrastructure work. Because it follows the DORA standard rather than inventing its own metrics, the output carries weight with people who know the field.
