Why we included this project
Auto-rigging is usually the fiddliest step in a character pipeline, and this browser-based tool is a more flexible take on the Mixamo approach. You load a GLB or GLTF model, pick a skeleton type, nudge the rig to fit the mesh, preview the built-in animations, and export the finished character in the same formats. The pipeline is plain TypeScript, so extending it is easier than hacking around a closed commercial service, which the author is counting on: more contributors means support for more skeleton and model types over time. If you would rather not depend on the hosted app, you can run it yourself with a Node/Vite setup or in Docker. The bundled library of over 150 animations is a real time-saver for games and web projects that need believable movement without keyframing every clip by hand.
