Why we included this project

This is a knowledge pack rather than a standalone app: it hands an AI coding agent a curated reference library so it can answer color questions like a specialist. If you build color tools, design systems, accessible interfaces, or generative art, your agent can pull up sourced, reliable answers instead of guessing. The skill is organized in three layers: a compact file the agent loads right away for common questions, a lookup index, and about 144 deep reference files covering color spaces, APCA and WCAG accessibility, palette generation, pigment mixing, and historical color theory for the harder cases. It's a quick way to give Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar agents solid color knowledge without assembling your own knowledge base.
