Why we included this project

Read Frog is a browser extension for people who want foreign-language reading to double as study time. It translates whole pages immersively, either side by side with the original or swapped in entirely, and a selection toolbar turns any highlighted phrase into an instant translation, plain explanation, or spoken reading. The learning side is where it earns its keep: vocabulary, definitions, and example sentences you save go into notes and become flashcards with spaced repetition, so words you meet while reading actually stick. It works with more than twenty AI providers, supports custom prompt actions like dictionary lookups or rewrites, and is available on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. That pulls translating, saving, and reviewing into one place, instead of bouncing between a translator and a separate study app.
