Why we included this project

Manim lets you describe math animations in Python and render them to video, the same workflow behind the 3Blue1Brown channel. That makes it a practical choice for course creators and researchers preparing talks, and for developers who want animations they can regenerate whenever the underlying numbers change, instead of re-recording them by hand. The community edition adds a Jupyter magic for iterating inside notebooks, a Docker image for consistent rendering environments, and a large gallery of examples to learn from. If your material is math, physics, or data that needs to be shown, not just described, this keeps the visuals in sync with the actual formulas.
