Why we included this project

Most small teams end up running Slack, Notion, Linear, and a CRM side by side, held together with MCP and Zapier. Macro replaces that stack with a single self-hostable workspace where email, chat, docs, tasks, calls, and CRM live in one interface and cross-reference each other through a native bidirectional graph. The AI angle is a shared team-level memory that both people and agents draw on, so an agent can pick up context from a doc, a channel thread, or a recorded call without you re-explaining it. It's built in SolidJS and Rust for speed, and the modular 'blocks' design means you can adopt the surfaces you need rather than the whole suite at once. For a small company or a team inside a larger one that wants agents operating in the same context as its people, this is a practical alternative to the usual tool-stitching approach.
