Why we included this project

Auto Browser gives an LLM agent a real Playwright browser through an MCP server, so Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP-capable client can drive pages instead of scraping HTML. The human-in-the-loop design is the part that stands out: a noVNC view keeps the live session open so a person can take over when a site gets brittle, and named auth profiles let you log in once and reuse the session later. It also keeps evidence of what the agent did, with approval gates, operator identity, PII scrubbing, and Ed25519-signed audit receipts you can hand to someone else. It runs locally via Docker Compose, and plain REST callers can use it too if you prefer curl-first control.
