Why we included this project
MCP server work tends to scatter across tools: an inspector here, a client there, and no easy way to exercise tools, prompts, and resources. This plugin pulls that into VS Code, Trae, or Cursor, pairing an inspector with an MCP client so you can test and debug without switching windows. Tools you've tested can be moved into an interactive testing panel that supports models like DeepSeek, OpenAI, Qwen, and Gemini. When you're satisfied, the openmcp-sdk turns the debugged configuration into a runnable agent with a few lines of code, so the same configuration carries from testing into deployment.
