Why we included this project
Lada is a video restoration tool built around one narrow job: recovering detail in footage where regions were pixelated or mosaicked, aimed specifically at adult (JAV) content. You get a graphical interface that renders restored frames in near real time and a command-line path for exporting processed videos to disk, so you can tune interactively or run scripted batch jobs. The README is refreshingly honest about the limits: output quality varies by scene and can occasionally look worse than the original mosaic, and real-time preview needs a fast GPU, with roughly 4-6GB of VRAM suggested for most clips and more memory for 4K. If your machine can't keep up with live playback, you just export the file and watch it later. A Flatpak, a Docker image, and a Windows build keep installation straightforward across platforms.
