Why we included this project

Browser extensions are one of the most practical ways people get AI into their everyday tools, but they end up scattered across storefronts, vendor sites, and GitHub. This project collects the useful ones into a single browsable index, grouped by the job they do: browser agents that navigate and fill forms, automation and text expansion, writing help, research and summarization, coding, translation, and more. That grouping is what makes it worth keeping around; you can land on the type of extension you need and weigh several options without wading through unrelated plugins. Each entry links out to the extension's own page and carries a one-line plain-language description, so you get a quick sense of what it does before you click. Open-source picks like Nanobrowser are included too, which matters if you want to run automation on your own LLM API keys rather than depend on someone else's stack.
