Why we included this project
Auto-GPT-ZH is a community-maintained Chinese fork of AutoGPT that stays in sync with the upstream stable branch, which is the main reason to pick it up: Chinese-speaking users get the same agent-building platform without having to translate the English docs themselves. The platform version is the practical part, with a drag-and-drop agent builder, a visual interface, and a choice between cloud hosting or self-hosting the backend and frontend with Docker and Node.js. Developers also get the Forge toolkit for building custom agents, plus the original classic agent code for studying how autonomous agents were first designed. The repository doubles as a Chinese-language community hub with a WeChat group and tutorial links, so it works as both software and a place to get help in Chinese. Just keep in mind that much of the surrounding content is community-driven translation and promotion, so treat it as AutoGPT with Chinese-friendly documentation rather than a separate product.
