Why we included this project

Back in early 2023, the HustleGPT challenge had people telling GPT-4 to act as an entrepreneurial co-founder and turn $100 into a working business. This repo captures that moment as a curated index rather than a product: the original prompt, a companion guide, and dozens of community ventures with progress notes. If you're curious about prompt-driven startup experiments, it's a useful record of which ideas got traction and which fizzled once the hype cooled. The real value is historical and practical. It shows how non-programmers framed big tasks for a frontier model, and where treating a chatbot as a decision-maker broke down. Most of the listed ventures never shipped, but teams exploring AI-assisted ideation can still learn from the attempts.
