Why we included this project

Running a Bilibili or Douyin channel with a virtual persona that can actually talk back in live chat is a real wiring job, and this repo shows one working way to do it. A Live2D avatar sits on a GPT-3.5 backend, so the streamer can answer danmaku, greet new viewers, thank gifts, and trigger character reactions that match what the audience just did. Plugins add voice interaction, scheduled bits like storytelling, and a context plugin that loads background material into a Milvus vector store so replies have more to draw on. It is a Windows-oriented Python codebase that uses VTube Studio for the avatar, so plan on manual configuration rather than a turnkey setup. One caveat: the author stopped maintaining it and points users to the successor project Langup, which is worth a look before you build on this code.
