Why we included this project

If you work with more than one AI coding assistant, you know the mess: each CLI stores its own conversation log, so your history is scattered across different folders and formats. Claude Code History Viewer collects those session records from Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Cline, Aider, OpenCode, and dozens of other assistants into a single offline desktop app. You can browse by project and session, search across all providers, and compare token usage side by side. It runs entirely on your machine on macOS, Windows, and Linux, so your data stays local. The analytics views help you see where your time and tokens actually go, which is useful for reviewing past sessions instead of digging through raw logs.
