Why we included this project
This skill is aimed at anyone who regularly digs through Chinese-language sources for research, trend spotting, or market analysis. Instead of opening Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Zhihu, Douyin, WeChat, Baidu, and Toutiao one by one, it searches all eight for content from the past 30 days and pulls the results into a single report with sources you can check. The setup burden is low: it leans on a Playwright-based crawler with public search fallbacks rather than a pile of API keys, and a --diagnose command will tell you which platforms are actually reachable before you start a run. It also holds up when platforms change their pages or throttle requests, which is the kind of maintenance you usually have to do yourself. The HTML report output is handy for archiving or sharing with a team, and the whole thing installs as a standard Agent Skill for tools like Claude Code and OpenClaw.
