Why we included this project

Instead of cutting clips on a timeline, Clapper lets you work from the story itself: you describe characters, locations, weather, time period, and visual style, and an AI assistant helps you refine the result scene by scene. That approach suits filmmakers and other creators who want a narrative to become moving images without picking up editing or AI engineering skills first. The project is honestly early, with missing tutorials, buttons that do nothing, and broken workflows, but the way it frames video creation as a conversation about your story, not a technical task, is worth following. A Director's Mode in the works would let you run the whole thing fullscreen and shout directions at the AI from your chair. Worth a look if you want to see where interactive AI filmmaking is headed.
