Why we included this project

OpenCLI turns websites you already use into command-line interfaces, so you can drive your real, logged-in Chrome session from the terminal instead of standing up scrapers or headless browsers. A lightweight browser bridge extension connects the CLI to your existing session, and built-in adapters cover sites like Reddit, HackerNews, Zhihu, and Xiaohongshu, with room to register your own local tools and Electron apps as commands. For agent builders, the opencli-browser skill is the part that stands out: install it into Claude Code, Cursor, or another agent, and the agent can navigate, click, fill forms, and extract data from any page using your existing login state. That removes the re-authentication friction and keeps automation deterministic. Teams that need repeatable automation over live web sessions, or that want to hand a logged-in browser to an agent, get a practical bridge between the terminal and the web.
