Why we included this project

TTime is a desktop translator for Windows and macOS that covers the everyday translation workflows: you can type a phrase, select text in another app, or capture a screenshot of a UI you want read in your own language. It also has a floating ball for quick lookups and a clipboard watcher that translates copied text automatically. OCR sits underneath, so a screenshot can go straight to recognized text in the clipboard without opening an extra window. The real strength for teams is the range of translation backends: several built-in sources (Google, DeepL via DeepLX, Bing, Tencent) plus optional API keys for Baidu, Youdao, OpenAI/ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, and many OCR providers. Since the sources are modular, developers comfortable with TypeScript can add a new endpoint by following a documented pattern rather than forking the whole app.
