Why we included this project
Obsidian users who want AI help without switching apps can get it here: the plugin adds autocomplete and chat directly inside the editor, in the style of Cursor. It autocompletes as you type, supports inline edits to the current note, and has a chat panel that works against a single selected note or your whole vault. Vault-wide chat and semantic search run on a bundled local embedding model, so you can find things by meaning rather than exact keywords. Custom modes and MCP integrations let you shape it around your own workflow, and reusable commands speed up frequent actions. If you keep research or a personal knowledge base in Obsidian and want a smoother writing and retrieval loop, this is a practical drop-in.
