Why we included this project

Teams building AI workflows around Xiaohongshu (RedNote) usually end up writing their own scraper and babysitting login sessions. This MCP server handles that part: a one-time browser login stores your cookie locally, and any MCP client, Cursor included, can then search notes by keyword or pull full note content from a URL. An assistant can cite real posts instead of working from memory or guesses. It is a narrow tool rather than a general framework, but for stacks already on MCP it is the most direct way to get current Xiaohongshu material without maintaining your own session management. Just remember you will need Playwright installed and should refresh the cookie now and then.
