Why we included this project

Turning loose research notes and raw data into a finished slide deck is usually hours of manual work, and PPTAgent handles it as an autonomous agent rather than a template-driven converter. You give it a topic or attach spreadsheets and PDFs, and it plans the outline, pulls in material through web search and document parsing, lays out the slides, creates the visuals, and exports a PPTX. What separates it from earlier generators is the reflective loop, where the agent evaluates and revises its own output, plus the option to run fully offline against a locally deployed model if you cannot send internal material to third-party APIs. Teams that need reproducible, unattended deck builds can run it through the CLI or Docker, and MCP support lets it plug into a wider agent pipeline instead of living on its own.
