Why we included this project

AnyTool sits in front of an agent and handles the parts of tool use that usually turn into a mess: finding the right tool among hundreds or thousands without stuffing the model's context window, remembering which tools actually work, and dispatching calls across web APIs, shell commands, and GUI automation through a single interface. The one-line integration and local or server execution modes mean you can start on one machine and move to a sandboxed VM later. Teams whose agents keep hitting context limits or stumbling over flaky community tools will find it a straightforward way to centralize that plumbing.
